Hello to everyone. It's been a very long time since the last blog
for which I'm sorry.
I have been very busy putting the finishing touches to what will be another truly fantastic evening of FUN raising.
We have "Britain's got Talent" BIG MAMA FUNK performing, also live music from "FUNKIFY", an award winning comedian, raffle, auction, silent auction and photography - I think in particular your all going to love the auction and raffle items!
All money raised will be going to Cancer Research UK and the Paul Strickland Scanner appeal at Mount Vernon Hospital. I am very proud to say we have now sold all 160 tickets. Thank you to all are friends and family that have always shown support for what I believe is a very important course. I know if it wasn't for Cancer Research UK and Mount Vernon Hospital I wouldn't be here today.
I look forward to seeing you all there with happy faces on Friday 30th September.

Firstly I must apologise for the late up date on the Fight 4 Life blog it has been a while.
I would like to say a massive thank you to everybody that has taken the time to email, text or call regarding the 1st Fight 4 Life charity ball at the Hilton Hotel Watford where we raised over £12,500 for Cancer Research UK.
Having recieved so much positive feedback and people asking for when the next charity ball will be I am pleased to confirm that the next Fight 4 Life charity event will be on Friday 30th September 2011 at the lovely Hunton Park Hotel, Hunton Bridge.
It will be in aid of Cancer Research UK and the Paul Strickland Scanner Appeal at Mount Vernon Hospital.
Tickets are on sale now and I am very proud to say that we have sold 70% of the tickets already!

So sorry for the late update on this blog, but I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everybody that came to the Fight 4 Life Cancer Research UK Charity Ball.
I have received so much positive feedback and even people asking when is the next one because they had such a great time.
A lot of time and effort went into the Fight 4 Life ball and I am very grateful to everybody that helped make the night a true success.
Finally, and most importantly, I wanted to share with you all that we raised over £12,000!!!! That is a massive achievement, and once again thank you for your help in raising much needed funds and awareness.

Well over 200 tickets have now been sold for the Fight 4 Life Cancer Research UK Charity Ball and with only 8 weeks to go the clock is ticking down on what should be a fantastic evenings entertainment.

A new blood test has just launched in the UK. The test is called OvPlex™ and is a superior performing diagnostic for earlier detection of ovarian cancer in symptomatic women.*
Ovarian cancer is known as a ‘silent disease’ because it does not always show clear symptoms.
