Welcome to the Fight 4 Life Cancer Research UK Charity Ball Website

For a long time now, in fact since our Grandma was diagnosed with cancer in July 2008, I have wanted to do a charity event to raise awareness. One in three people will develop cancer at some point in their lifetime and one in four will sadly die from the disease. Well, in January 2009 I myself was diagnosed with a very rare ovarian cancer at the age of 35. I’m one of the “lucky” ones, as it was caught in time and had not spread or I could have been the one in four that would have died from the disease.

Thanks to all the support I received from doctors, nurses, family and friends I am now back to full health and feel it’s time to get back to the plan of the charity ball.

The Fight 4 Life Cancer Research UK Charity Ball is to raise awareness for all types of cancer. The event will take place at the Watford Hilton Hotel on Saturday 6th November 2010 at 7:30pm. It will be a black tie dinner dance with a live band, entertainment, raffle, auction and lots lots more. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased directly from me or through this website.

The evening is about coming together and showing support for such an important cause. Together we can raise awareness, raise money and raise the roof whilst all enjoying and having a truly fantastic evening.

I just want to finish by saying a massive thank you to all my family, friends and you for visiting this website and showing your support for such an important cause. I must also give thanks to Tim Dibbs and Lee Monahan who are joint Managing Directors of Crown Honda in Bushey Heath and Hendon for there on going support and generosity to the cause.

I hope to see you at the event and thank you all once again.
